Red Bull Joyride 

The Crankworx World Tour brings together the best mountain bikers on the planet to compete in elite level competitions. The flagship event of Crankworx is Red Bull Joyride which highlights the 14 best riders in the world.  Joyride is known as the “Super Bowl” of the mountain biking world where each competitor has two opportunities for high octane and high-profile tricks at the “Boneyard” dirt stadium at the base of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park.  

The Challenge 

10 STAR was approached by Red Bull, the world’s leading energy drink, to produce an epic 10 Year Anniversary Joyride after party which coincided with 10 years of Red Bull’s partnership with Crankworx. The party was to be cohesive with the mountain bike event to encompass and match the thrill, energy, and passion of Joyride. 

The Solution 

10 STAR worked closely with Red Bull to develop an event program that would not only electrify but would also bring the experience of Joyride to the attendees. The party took place at the Whistler Convention Centre where we transformed the venue into a Las Vegas style warehouse party with multiple premium custom builds. We were extremely “pallet happy” with everything from seating areas to bars to even the main stage being made from pallets. One of the main highlights was our custom upside-down Joyride hero wall which was immensely popular with attendees for compelling photo opportunities. We had a large hi-def LED screen showing incredible mountain footage, we installed a 360-degree camera in the middle of the venue for guests to get their photos taken to capture just about everything around their sphere, and we even sourced 2 stationary blender bikes located at the side of one of the bars where attendees could interactively pedal to mix their drinks.  The crowd was dazzled all night with the sounds of Toronto based DJ and radio host Jayemkayem, former Red Bull 3Style World DJ Champion DJ Headspin, and headlined by American singer, songwriter, and rapper Aminé. 

The Outcome 

Red Bull were overjoyed with the production and execution of the Joyride after party and were simply blown away by the guest experience.
